As specialists in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) this also includes concussion (mTBI).

  Concussion Assessment (Acute)  - What is included?

 

 ·       Comprehensive multimodal face to face assessment

·       Validated symptom score assessment

·       Neurological screening which includes as indicated:-

·       Cranial nerve assessment

·       Reflexes

·       Power and sensation

·       Reaction times

·       Balance

·       Vestibulo-ocular motor screen

·       Autonomic nervous system

·       Cervical spine (neck)

·       Neuroflex ocular motor assessment

·       Recommendations for onward referrals as indicated

·       Comprehensive report which includes analysis of data and initial management plan and advice. 

·       Travel costs are additional


Persistent Concussion Symptoms (PCS) - What is included?

 

 

·       Comprehensive multimodal face to face assessment of the causes of ongoing symptoms PCS

·       Autonomic nervous system assessment

·       Cervical spine assessment

·       Vestibular and visual function assessment

·       Neuroflex ocular motor function assessment

·       Videonystagmography assessment for positional vertigo if indicated

·       Recommendations for onward referrals as indicated

·       Comprehensive report which includes analysis of data and initial management plan
